Gentle classes are appropriate for students who would like a less physically demanding class. Classes will blend breath awareness with standing, sitting, supine/prone poses and twists, to ease the aging body, relieve stiffness, improve mobility and reduce stress. Instruction weaves the spiritual concepts of yoga with bio-mechanical principles to assist students in balancing strength, stability, and flexibility via postural alignment and intentional action. Students are assisted individually. Classes are ongoing (refer to schedule for holidays/breaks). Students may begin any time. Drop-ins are welcome. In consideration of others – no perfume or cologne. Please arrive on time.
