“The classes are mystical, the food divine.”

The Yoga Lodge on Whidbey Island sits on five secluded acres at the end of a private lane not far from the village of Greenbank. It is an environmentally conscious safe haven for healing, learning, and reconnection to spirit. The forest of silver-cast alders that greets guests upon arrival is an invitation to enter a realm of natural simplicity. The surroundings are home to an array of wildlife, including deer, rabbit, heron, owl, pileated woodpecker, eagle, coyote and songbirds. Its pond and trails offer possibilities for quiet contemplation and meditation.
Guests at The Yoga Lodge can enjoy two small orchards, organic vegetable and flower gardens, a small pond, woodland and beach walks, scrumptious organic vegetarian/vegan breakfasts and a wood-fired sauna nestled in the trees. The property is within walking distance of Lagoon Point, only two miles from South Whidbey State Park and an easy drive or bike ride to Ebey’s Landing, the Port Townsend ferry, Greenbank Farm, Beachcomber’s Beach and other attractions on Whidbey Island. Whidbey is considered the largest island in the continental United States, accessed by ferry traveling from Seattle or via Deception Pass from Bellingham and points north.

The Yoga Lodge offers private, semi-private and group yoga lessons throughout the week, specialized yoga and healing arts workshops and is available for B&B, individual and group retreats. The Lodge has hosted groups with varied interests, such as yoga, meditation, modern dance and music.
The Yoga Lodge is founded on the principles of compassion, generosity, and humanitarian service. A modest percentage of the annual income is donated to nonprofit charitable organizations, often locally based.
“Between sessions, students shuffle in shushed serenity around the five acres of property at The Yoga Lodge on Whidbey Island - the retreat of choice for Seattle-area yoga, Pilates, and tai chi studios. Groups camp in tents or bunk down dorm style, while couples and solo soul searchers stay in the bed-and-breakfast and get in on the OM-my-God delicious morning meal featuring organic, island grown produce.”
